Richmond half marathon completed!

Well done to Natasha and Jane who ran the Richmond Old Deer Park half marathon with me!

It was a hard race starting with multiple loop backs in the park followed by a very muddy towpath and road running…and then we had to do it all over again as the race was done in two laps!

But we were rewarded with a really nice medal and a sense of achievement. Natasha and Jane are the first Common Runners to complete a half marathon – well done ladies!

Common Runners enjoyed the Santa Run

Some new and seasoned Common Runners enjoyed the 6k Santa Run in Battersea Park this weekend.

The atmosphere was great, the Santa suits were LARGE and the weather was chilly but bright! All Common Runners ran the 6k and enjoyed their well deserved medals. Well done to Helen J, Candy, Catherine, Margaret, Claire, Katie, Jennifer, Elizabeth & family.

Common Runners enjoyed the Run Richmond Park race

There was a fairly small gathering in Richmond Park on Saturday for the 5k and 10k race. Initially we thought that everyone was 20 years younger than us but we spotted a few mature runners, especially for the 10k, and that put us at ease!

Dressed in our corporate ‘pink’ tops, we all felt excited but nervous (except for Claire who remained calm throughout!) but once we ran for 5/10 minutes we soon relaxed into the race.

Everyone ran fantastically – for the 5k, Teresa came in at 28 minutes followed by Elizabeth at 34 minutes and Claire at 39 minutes. Caroline ran the 10k and came in at 49 minutes. Well done to all.

Common Runners enjoy the Santa Run at Battersea Park

What a great atmosphere at the Santa Run in Battersea Park this morning. The santa suits were hilariously large, kept coming undone during the run but we all managed to complete the 6k to enjoy our welll deserved medals! Well done to Suzie, Olivia, Lindsay, Matthew and Yvette.  Enjoy the photos on Common Runners’ Facebook page or our Photo Gallery.
