From outside the Windmill Cafe on Wimbledon Common, we offer running courses for beginners and improvers and weekly social runs – during the week, usually straight after school drop off, in the evening and on Saturday morning. We also offer one-to-one training for those who may not want to be part of a group or who would like some tailored training.
The running classes are women-only and for all ages and abilities. They take place during term-time and exclude school holidays, making them ideal for mums, homeworkers and retirees. Ad hoc classes and one-to-ones are available in the holidays, subject to demand.
Our spring/summer 2022 courses started in April 2022 and there is some availability. Classes take place on Wimbledon Common on Monday morning, Tuesday morning & evening, Thursday morning, Friday morning (social run) and occasionally on Saturday morning.
Each class will have a maximum of 12 runners and all runners must complete a health form.
Booking a running course
Our spring/summer 2022 running courses must be booked in advance – the term (13 weeks) costs £169 class only OR £182 to include a free social run every Fridays at 9.30am – two classes per week for the price of one! Evening courses cost £169 as there is no social run on offer. All course attendees are entitled to discounts at The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) in Wimbledon, Sporting Feet (in Putney & Richmond), Sweatshop (locations throughout London), Sweaty Betty (Wimbledon) and Up & Running (East Sheen), Proviz (online), Sportsshoes.com (online).
