Royal Parks run

Royal Parks run at Kensington Palace1On Friday 10 March 2017, 10 Common Runners went on a 10k Royal Parks adventure run to discover some new and forgotten gems in Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Green Park and St James’s Park. The run was followed by a well deserved coffee and cake at Kensington Palace.

The run was great! We met at a fountain inside Green Park on a fairly cloudy but mild day. We then ran around Green Park, past Buckingham Palace, into St James’s Park, back to Wellington Arch, onto the Joy of Life fountain, Italian Gardens, Peter Pan statue, Albert Memorial and finally Kensington Palace. It was wonderful looking at the sights, running around the crowds of tourists, bumping into friends (Isabella!) and finally having refreshment at the Palace! A great way to spend a Friday morning in March!

Here’s what some Common Runners had to say about the run:

“Thank you so much for a fabulous morning. I absolutely loved it.” J O’Riordan Wimbledon

“Thanks Caroline for today (and for building in some stops!) – it was most enjoyable to see such beautiful parts of London that I usually take for granted!” D. Cameron, Putney
